History
At the beginning were Šárka Kašpárková and Michal Pogány. After a not very successful performance at the 1995 World Championships, it looked like the end of this chapter. However, Šárka won a medal at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta and suddenly everything was different.
The management group started to grow and athletes, such as Jiří Mužík or Nikola Brejchová (at that time still Tomečková), started to join the team. Slovaks were also joining. The next impulse came in autumn 2001, when the activities of Česká sporovní in the field of athletics started to expand. We added Zlatá tretra and the aces of Czech and world athletics Jan Železný and Roman Šebrle, for whom we started to arrange sports services.
Team Top Athletics
A big boost was the arrival of Pavel Pruša, who was in charge of PR, marketing and his passionate work “dressed” our entire team. Juraj Vitko and Zuzana Trojáková also worked for Top Athletics.
Currently, the team is run by Top Athletics CEO Alfons Juck, marketing manager Monika Písečná (née Baňovičová) and athlete representative Andrew Maulseed.

TOP ATHLETICS represents security in the tangled world of athletics, efforts to provide a quality program of competitions or training camps, assistance in securing sportswear, marketing issues and medical care.
We currently represent athletes from all over the world and have Olympic champions, World and European champions on our roster. We do not forget about young people who, if they show talent, will experience cooperation with us in a positive sense.
We value sincerity, honesty and strive for the highest quality of sports performance and professionalism. Should there be any violations of the rules, such as doping, cooperation with the athlete in question will be terminated immediately. We are here to form one team, the athletes to achieve medals and nice performances, the others to provide the conditions and service to achieve them.
At the age of 10, Alfons Juck became interested in athletics, which interested him so much that he took an active interest in it and became the Slovak youth champion in the 400m hurdles. Later he graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport. Currently, Alfons Juck is a successful sports manager of world-class character, co-organizer of athletic events, sports journalist, sports commentator, sports statistician and president of Euromeetings. In 1984 he became a member of the International Association of Athletics Statisticians.
Alongside these activities, he became a broadcaster of the Slovak championships, later working his way up to the role of broadcaster of the then most prestigious meeting Pravda – Televízia – Slovnaft. In the first half of the 1990s, this meeting had a great turnout, especially thanks to Alfons Juck’s linguistic skills, which attracted athletic world stars such as Michael Johnson, Linford Christie and Sergej Bubka. He was one of the few athletic managers who managed to develop a friendly relationship with Usain Bolt, thanks to the opportunity to start at the Ostrava Golden Triple Crown at a time when nobody knew the term “BOLT”.
Today, the Top Athletics management group boasts a portfolio of Olympic champions, world champions, European champions and medallists from top events.
